Helps Client PRISMIQ Win CES Award
December 15, 2003 – San Francisco, CA. Connecting
Point Communications today announced that its client, PRISMIQ, Inc.,
a leader in networked entertainment devices and software, has received
the 2004 CES Innovations award from the Consumer Electronics Association
for its new product, the PRISMIQ MediaPlayer/Recorder (MP/R).
The PRISMIQ MP/R is the next generation in entertainment
gateways – a diskless digital video recorder (DVR), a full-featured
digital media hub for playback of personal media stored on home
PCs, and an IP set-top box.
“We are very proud to win the CES Innovations
award for our new product,” said Brad Kayton, VP of Marketing
and Business Development for PRISMIQ. “Working closely with
our team at Connecting Point Communications, we won every major
award in home media networking this past year, and this is a great
start to what we hope will be another year of public recognitions
for PRISMIQ products.”
“PRISMIQ is one of those rare companies where
the products are so good that our job becomes very easy,”
said Christine Boehlke, founder and CEO of Connecting Point. “We’ve
had a great time helping them get the recognition they deserve,
are thrilled at this latest, very important endorsement from CES
and know there will be many more such milestones to come in 2004.”

America's leading independent public relations firms. Founded in
